How to register a domain name

Registering .com .org. co.uk etc...

When signing up for one of HostPnut's website hosting packages, you will be presented with the following menu:

To register a .com .org .co.uk .net etc. domain name, choose option one "I want HostPnut to register a domain name for me" and follow the screen instructions.

Registering .co.za

The cheapest way to register a .co.za domain name is to cut out all middle men and go directly to the base registrar: http://co.za/

1.   Check .co.za domain name availability at http://co.za/whois.shtml    

2.  Purchase HostPnut hosting package, choose option 3 from the below menu and type in the .co.za domain name that you are going to register.

3. Copy the registration form off the http://co.za/ web site @ "http://co.za/coza_reg.txt ".   

4.  Paste it into the body of an e-mail, edit it there and make sure that the text remains in plain ascii text, then mail it to: coza-admin@co.za . 

DO NOT DELETE anything from the Form.... 

5.  Please note that you will have to sign up for your hosting account before hand as you will be required to complete the details of the name servers from your website host in the registration form (you will receive these details in your welcome email once signed up with HostPnut.co.za). 

6.  Once the form has been emailed to coza-admin@co.za , you will receive an email invoice, the banking details into which the payment must be made, as well as the details to where the proof of payment must be faxed to.
